Statement of Faith

We believe:

There is one true God, revealed in different offices as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Deut, 6:4; 1 Joh 5:20).
That the Bible in its original form (1933/55 Afrikaans and the King James translation) is the only true living Word of God. It is accepted by Éfatta as the final authority in all matters of doctrine, faith and life.
That a person can only be saved by fully accepting the complete sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ; that he has died for our sins and was resurrected once for all.
That every person should be born again to enter the Kingdom of God according to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ through water and Spirit. (Joh 3:5) (Acts 2:38)
That there is no other name under heave given through which we can be saved, other than the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12)
That the gift of righteousness (the condition acceptable to God) is received through the process of being born again. (Rom 5:17)
Every person should be baptised through single submersion in water, in the Name of Jesus Christ, through which he/she will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
That babies should not be baptised, but dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ, once.
That the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate for the edification of the Body of Christ.
That Christ will return for his church, and that those who died in Christ, will be raised with this advent.
That Christ is the end of the Mosaic Law for them that believes unto Him (Rom 10:4).
